Girl Scout Badge Work

I had so much fun working on this project with my family. I am working on a Girl Scounts badge called "Camera Shots" and one of the activities to do is to make a video. Mommy and I worked together to make up a script. The writing and the filming took about two hours. Then, I worked another hard hour on editing with Daddy using iMovie.

PPS. Some parts are quiet so you might want to turn up the sound a bit. And sorry about all the noisy wind.

I loved your story on video! And I got to see your dog, Toby. Good job. I have lots of home movies and some day I want to learn how to edit the best pieces of them together like you did, adding music and captions. Maybe you can teach me sometime! Keep up the good work. And wear your Girl Scout badge proudly. You earned it!

And the academy award for best Director in a short film goes to....drum roll....Brynn Akins!! And the crowd goes wild, the camera flips to mom dabbing her tears and dad jumps up to kiss his little girl before she hits the stage to recieve her award.
Ok...so it could happen! Great job Brynn, you just might be on to a career in film making. Be sure to thank the "little people" when you get to the top.
Nevertheless - wear your badge proudly. And tell the actors (and co-writer) they did a great job too! I think Toby will be up for best supporting actor very soon!

I had no idea you had created such an awesome video. I knew you were a great writer, but what fun to discover you also write screenplays and make movies.
