Catchy Title
I sometimes get stuck trying to think of a clever title for my blog entries. This morning is no exception. (At least I'm writing a blog...Stacy!) Today I don't really even have a clear subject- no message, no issue. I definitely have a lack of focus. The contents of my brain this morning are:
It's Monday, overcast, dull and very unmotivating.
Brynn seemed to have had a very good weekend at Harbor Villa (Twin Rocks) with Daddy at the Kids Club retreat. Yet this morning she was a grump-left for school with a grouchy, "I'm leaving now." When I asked if she wanted a hug, she left with a surly look and closed the door. Mama got no hug. I'm trying to not have hurt feelings. (Self-mantra: I'm not in control of my daughter's happiness, I'm not in control of my daughter's happiness.)
Ooh, I've got to turn the hot tub up, I promised Jolee and Grace that they could play in it this afternoon. They are probably "sore" from helping Jeremy tear down the deck yesterday :)
I ate waaayyy to much this weekend at Girl Scout camp. I'm really going to have to control myself this week. Arrhgh, why did food have to become such a control issue? I liked it a lot better when I was 16 and could eat anything I wanted.
Camp Yamhill was lots of fun this weekend. I really enjoyed spending time with 6 of my Girl Scouts and my co-leader Laura. She rocks!
Hmmm, what am I going to prepare for food during my "girls weekend" in Seattle. Come On Friday! I can't wait to hang with Kathi and Tami for a few days.
Every time I hear the plan for Girls Camp this summer, I'm so excited. How amazing it is to be involved with a team of Christian women dedicated to bringing 4th -6th grade girls closer to Christ. The committee meetings are so encouraging. oops, I forgot to ask Joseph about the TRFC board meeting in May.
This weekend was a whirlwind-and the next two will be as well. My heart is aching for Scott and Nicole. How do you really prepare to say "goodbye" for a year.
Paige is hungry-sending her down to forage for food in the fridge alone was probably not a good idea. Time to push "submit" and get off this thing.
Ok, so I edited before pushing submit and now Paige has finished the yogurt. What do I get paid to do around here?
I wonder if Gregg used my email in his message yesterday? Sometime today I'll listen to the service.
Sarah said "butt" in front of my mom and Brynn yesterday. Man that was funny. I love my friends. Ooh, that reminds me, it's time to create the invites for the shower. That's more fun than laundry. And more important. Yes, definitely more important.
Gotta go.

Who's who?
Oh, man! I know all those names, and I know what's going on, but I can't imagine someone else knowing who all these people are and what's going on with all of them. I smile. My only "comment" here is to add a quick who's-who in Michelle's Blogland:
You won't hear it...
Hey Michelle! You won't hear it on the recording, because that's 2nd service, and lots of people shared in the service. But third service was quieter, and I read it there. Thank you for sharing it!!
SURPRISE!!
HEY Michelle! Guess what? Just so happens that I started a BLOG today!! HA - SO THERE!! Go check it out when you get a chance...it's nothing special (yet)
but at least I figured out a name. Now I just have to figure out how to format it all. HA HA!! Well, I'm just glad to finally get a name...hope it lasts! See you on the other side.... Love, Stac
